Vlinder is making a call out for CHANGE! A Change in how we see things done in the home. No more auto pilot. Parent with Intention! Together we can get things done. Utilize the program, support and Breakthrough to see change happen in your home. You are not alone. You only need to reach out!

Everything fits in our Vlinder Can! Reward Cards, Task Sheets…

LITTLE KNOWN FACT:  There are hidden butterflies on each of the reward cards except one. In some cases they are very difficult to find. For the year 2017 I am offering a 30 minute consultation for those of you that can identify the card with the missing butterfly.  To qualify simply write your answer in the contact us portion of the website. Good luck and I look forward to hearing from you!

After creating Vlinder I never assume to know what motivates my kids anymore. I would never have guessed that one on one time cuddling with me would be their favorite reward.

What motivates your kiddos? Do you think you would be surprised to hear their answer?

I don’t know about you but I always learn more by participating than by listening or reading about something.  Vlinder encourages role playing as a means to explain the expectations you have for your child. The clearer you are about what your needs and wants are at the onset, the less nagging and frustration you feel throughout the day.

Ask about discounts for purchasing multiple copies of Vlinder here. There was great value in my experience as I continued to work with Vlinder with my first Pilot group. It was the inspiration for the support group. A place where moms and dads could join forces and talk about experiences that worked…and ones that didn’t. Visit the support group. No purchase necessary to join.

Trivia: Vlinder originally started from a dream about a caterpillar and its transformation into a beautiful butterfly.

“This program belongs in a preschool. Not only is there the benefit of a built in structure. The reward system plays off the students own motivators. It’s quite clever.”  M.Sorensen, Executive Director, Non-Profit

“Wow! What a difference this has on children’s lives. Learning how to use your own motivation in order to attain your goals is quite a lesson learned, indeed!” Dr. Hart, Psychiatrist

“I like that there are pictures on the game cards for the kids so that they don’t need adults at every turn to understand what they have to do next. It allows them to be more independent.” S. Babala, Daycare Provider

A child’s imagination is such an amazing thing. It is free of the why nots and its just so…

One of my favorite quotes…

“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, Love like you’ll never be hurt, Sing like there’s nobody listening, And live like it’s heaven on earth.”  William W. Purkey

An affirmation is an assertion of  something that is true. So when you say to yourself I am beautiful…I am smart…I am successful…I am worthy…these are all affirmations that are healthy for your self-image and helpful for your self-worth. Practice finding positive things that you can say to yourself repeatedly that will remind you that you are a good person.

Every once in awhile it is nice to have a bit of funny trivia!  Don’t you think?

Or some beautiful flowers!

My Creed I would be true, for there are those who trust me; I would be pure, for there are those who care; I would be strong, for there is much to suffer; I would be brave, for there is much to dare. I would be friend of all- the foe, the friendless; I would be giving, and forget the gift. I would be humble, for I know my weakness; I would look up- and laugh- and love- and lift.

I reviewed 5 different ways to get gum off of your clothes. Here are my results.

  1. Freezing seemed to work well if the gum was lightly laying on top. No corduroy for example!

  2. Hot liquid was just frustrating and messy.

  3. Peanut butter…rubbing oily peanut butter on your clothes to lose up your gum just seems like adding to the problem! If you try it make sure to wash your clothes with heavy detergent right away!

  4. Using different household products like goof off…hit or miss…every time!

  5. The one I liked the most was ironing. Use medium heat put the gum against cardboard. Iron on the back side of the clothes…not directly on the gum.  The gum ends up on the cardboard instead of on your clothes.  Pretty neat.
